Artist Bio:
Ryan Bridgforth is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer currently based in Chattanooga, TN, whose work delves into the often overlooked connections and systems that shape our lives. Through careful consideration between material and concept, as well as subtle details that have big implications, he creates narratives around the impact of technology, patterns of behavior, speculative futures, and personal connections. Ryan is currently a fourth-year student at Murray State University pursuing a BFA in Studio Art, with an emphasis in Graphic Design. He has also spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona at ELISAVA within the advanced design track. His work has been featured in the 2023 & 2025 Organization of Murray Art Student’s Annual Student Exhibition, winning multiple awards including the Murray Art Guild’s MAGpie award, as well as ELISAVA’s Study Abroad Spring 24 exhibition - BLOOM. You can find his work on his website tinybird.design or @tinybirddesign on Instagram.
Every year the MAG presents our “MAGpie Award” at the Murray State University OMAS group’s Annual Student Art exhibition. This award consists of a cash prize, a pie, and the opportunity to exhibit at the MAG in September. Ryan is the 2025 recipient.
The Murray Convention & Visitors Bureau (206 S. 4th Street) has graciously offered their gallery during our construction and while we are in our temporary space. Their business hours are Monday to Friday, 8-4:30.
