Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at the MAG Community Art Center. Key parameters for exhibitions at MAG focus on fostering community engagement and artistic quality. Each year we consider a balanced exhibition program including a variety of formats, themes, and artists to serve the center's mission and appeal to diverse interests. Things we consider include:
Original non-reproduced work
Quality and cohesion, a clear and consistent artist's voice
Impact on and engagement with our community
Emerging artists encouraged
While artistic freedom is important, we reserve the right to decline work with incendiary or profane topics that go against our mission.
MAG offers two separate exhibition opportunities, the MAG Guild Gallery or MAG Mini Gallery.
The MAG Guild Gallery is 27’ x 18’ with approximately 52’ of wall space. We schedule 6 or 7 exhibitions annually and will consider small group or solo shows.
The MAG Mini Gallery is 9.5" deep x 11.5" wide x 13.5" tall. We typically schedule 10-12 exhibits annually.
The Gallery Committee meets on a monthly or as needed basis. Proposals are accepted on a rolling schedule. We generally schedule twelve to eighteen months out. You will be notified after your proposal has been reviewed and a decision has been made. Please note MAG takes a 40% commission on gallery sales, or a 25% commission on sales if a MAG member.

Cover letter
Should include contact information, your desire to exhibit in either the MAG Guild Gallery or MAG Mini Gallery, a brief description of your work and/or the proposed exhibition along with any other pertinent information we should consider. Also include proposed dates that might work for you.Resume

Submit a minimum of five images of your work. These should be good quality digital images and should be labeled with title, medium and size of artwork, date, and, if work is for sale, include price. Please note any issues that might be unique to installation.
