Artist Bio:
Jannette Parent is a contemporary artist living in Princeton, Kentucky. Her favorite medium are acrylics and watercolors and she finds her inspiration throughout nature, often painting images of insects, animals, plants and landscapes.
Jannette grew up in Southern Oregon and graduated from Pacific Northwest School of Art and Design. She’s worked as a window displayer, automotive painter, picture framer, interior designer, muralist, graphic designer, art teacher, and a general art store know-it-all. While performing these jobs, she’s lived in Oregon, Hawaii, Wisconsin, Florida, and now Kentucky. “Each of these experiences have shaped and formed me into the artist I have become, while giving me a more panoramic view of people and art.“ Jannette is now a full-time studio artist and a yoga/fitness instructor.
