Description:
The Assistant Director for Murray Art Guild is a part-time, non-exempt position. This role supports the Executive Director in managing day-to-day operations (gallery, fundraising events, grant writing, and all programming) with a strong emphasis on financial management, bookkeeping, and organizational oversight. The ideal candidate will bring excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to keep both administrative and financial records accurate and up to date.
The Assistant Director reports directly to the Executive Director. Typical work days are flexible at the discretion of the Executive Director but generally fall during MAG’s open hours, Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm. Certain evening or weekend hours are required throughout the year for events, board meetings, or other obligations. The office is usually closed on Mondays.
