Twill O' Rama: A Round Robin Weaving Workshop

A great class for beginners and more experienced weavers alike, this round-robin features Twill, the “Queen” of all weave structures!

Participants will receive pre-wound warps in triadic color schemes and will thread their own looms with three different twills. So with each sample having 3 colors, 3 threadings, and 3 treadlings, this is a color gamp* study as well as a twill gamp* study!

Each student will go home with a notebook full of drafts and samples.

(* a gamp is a sampler of different color interactions or structures….this is both!)

Fri. May 31 / 5pm / setup (recommended)
Sat. June 1 / 9am-5pm studio (lunch provided)

Deborah (Debbie) Todhunter has been teaching weaving workshops in the Southeast for over 12 years on a diverse range of topics: Shadow Weave, the Miniature Overshot of Estes and Hayes, Swedish structures, and checked fabrics. She also knits, tats, and makes bobbin lace -- interests that all started at a young age -- and spinning came later! Debbie enjoys researching structures, ferreting out obscure resources, and sharing the knowledge with her students.

$100 (In addition, at time of workshop there is a $50 material & notebook Fee, payable to instructor.) Click here to pay!
