REGISTRATION FORM

Messy Friday:
Every Friday through June and August 1 st. This class is designed for pre-school age kids + and parents. Each week will feature hands on art project…join us for creative exploration! Taught by Kristi Shapla. Fridays: 9:00 – 10:00 8 weeks $50

The following classes meet at the Murray Art Guild from 1:00-3:00 pm(unless stated otherwise). All materials and supplies are provided. Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. For more information and class description call 270.753.4059 or murrayartguild@murray-ky.net.

Eco Art “Wild Craft”: 
May 26- May 30   ages 5-8   members $50 non-members $60
Taught by Roman Shapla, this class will give students a chance to create “Wild Craft” with natural materials. Students will work on a variety of 3D projects.

Glass Painting:
June 2 – 6   ages 7- 10   members $75 non-members $85
Beautiful painted glass pieces have the effect of stained glass. Students work from designs to create a unique piece worthy of the finest window. There is lots of thought to color and design in this workshop taught by Annie Owsley.

Watercolor:
June 9 - 13   ages 7 – 10   members $75 non-members $85
Both traditional and experimental watercolor techniques will be explored as students paint from imagination as well as traditional still life settings. Taught by Heather Duffy.

Drawing:
June 16-20    ages 5-8   members $50 non-members $60
Students will work with Maranda Allbritten with a variety of drawing materials working both from imagination and from observation as they explore the possibilities of drawing.

Printmaking and Art Books:
June 23 – June 27 ages9 –12 members $75 non-members$85
Students will learn basic printmaking techniques then use their prints to create one of a kind hand bound books. Taught by Maranda Allbritten.

Photography:
July 7 -11     ages 10 & up     members $75 non-members $85
Taught by Stacey Reason this class will introduce students to photography basics with conversations about composition and other technical aspects of digital photography. Students must have their own digital camera. This class will meet from 3:00 – 5:00pm.

Zine:
July 7 -11     ages 13 & up     members $50 non-members $60
This class taught by Roman Shapla will meet in the evenings and is for ages 13 & up students will design and create handmade and self published magazines. 7:00 – 9:00pm

Willow Chair Workshop:
July 14- 18     ages 10-up      members $75 non-members $95
Taught by local willow artist George Beard and assisted by Bryan Warner students will work with willow to creat a small chair. Limited enrollment.

Weaving:
July 21 -25      ages 10-13      members $75 non-members $85
Students will learn basic weaving techniques as they design and individual projects for table looms. Forever popular! Taught by Guildf weaver Eileen Wirsig.
